<p>I&#8217;ve had a bunch of requests from people who are wanting some more &#8220;traditional&#8221; BJJ. As you&#8217;re probably aware, I added the Roy Dean Videos to the list of reviewed BJJ videos recently, and can honestly say that his are my favorite gi videos that I&#8217;ve ever watched.</p>
<p>However, there&#8217;s a new kid in town when it comes to great BJJ instructional videos. Mario Roberto is black belt in BJJ from Brazil, and was formerly most well-known as the translator on the Marcello Garcia video series. Mario has recently done his own video set, and it is phenomenal. He has both gi and no-gi in it, and includes everything from takedowns and defending punches to traditional gi sweeps. This set is an incredibly helpful resource for some of the people who might focus on their grappling more than MMA.
